Currently undertaking my first semester, focusing on Information Technology Operations, Fundamentals of Programming and Problem Solving, and Fundamentals of Information Systems.
To enable students to apply fundamental IT technical support concepts and practice, and configure and administer systems.
Principles of software development to create simple working applications and use problem-solving techniques.
Work in a team to apply concepts of business analysis, UX and interface design.
Apply fundamentals of IS concepts including data modelling and administration.
Operational knowledge of networking, associated services and technologies.
Install and configure IT hardware and systems software using GUI and CLI.
DBMS concepts, data modelling and SQL implementation.
IT service management, security issues, and troubleshooting common system problems.
